EXPERIENCE

Each of the Issuing Agencies/Authorities, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), establish their own, minimum acceptable standards or experience requirements that applicants must possess, before allowing those applicants to proceed through that agency's Examination/Licensing process.

We provide additional and more rigorous experience recommendations to our students, particularly regarding FCC Courses. Our goal in this practice is to maximize the potential for our students to succeed and obtain their license.

Of course we want students to enroll in our courses, but not just so we can collect more tuition. A student should possess a solid background in the subject area that they are seeking to become licensed in.

We typically do not encourage students to enroll in a course for which they meet the narrowly defined experience requirements established by one of the Issuing Agencies, if in our opinion they don’t really possess the "overall background" that our experience in this arena has demonstrated to us, is generally necessary for them to be successful in obtaining a license.
