EXPERIENCE: FCC Courses
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC), establish their own, minimum acceptable standards or experience requirements which applicants must possess, before allowing those applicants to proceed through that agency's Examination/Licensing process.
Typically applicants must be eligible for employment in the US, and be able to transmit and receive spoken messages in English.
We provide additional recommendations to our students, particularly regarding FCC Courses. Our goal in this practice is to maximize the potential for our students to succeed in obtaining their license.
Of course we want students to enroll in our courses, but not just so we can collect more tuition. A student should possess a solid background in the subject area that they are seeking to become licensed in.
General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL) Course - Students should possess a background in aviation electronics, radio construction, repair, and communication, as well as FCC rules and regulations, to be successful in passing the tests and obtaining a license.General Radiotelephone Operator License with Radar Endorsement (GROL+) Course - Students should possess an in depth background in aviation electronics, radio construction, repair, communication, FCC rules and regulations, both land and ship based radar systems, design, construction, repair, troubleshooting, and FCC rules and regulations, to be successful in passing the tests and obtaining a license.
