Our Company's Motto has always been - "We Bring the School to You!" Bringing you the best in Aviation Ground School training, and "Live" classroom instruction is what we here at Shelle Aviation are all about!
Owned and Operated by Retired U. S. Military Personnel, the company was established in 1990. With the unique perspective we have, we are able to provide all of our clients, particularly our Military clients, with a very insightful approach to the classroom, as well as what is involved in transitioning your aviation maintenance skills from the U. S. Military to the Civil Aviation environment, whether it be for an FAA or an FCC certification.
We began in 1990 by offering courses at just one location. Since good news does travel fast, within our first year of operation, the "word-of-mouth" recommendations that our students provided for us then, and continue to provide today, led many of their associates around the country to become students of Shelle Aviation also. Our reputation as an affordable and effective Ground School for AMT's grew very fast, and as a direct result of our students overall satisfaction.
Soon we were offering courses throughout the contiguous United States and Alaska. The course schedule became very busy, and we found ourselves wishing we could utilize our instructors in more than one place at the same time. Of course, basic physics dictate that that wasn't very likely to occur. However with the advent of the Internet, and all of the new capabilities that it has to offer, we now have found a way to do just that, put an instructor in more than one place at a time!
In 2009 Shelle Aviation began offering all of its courses in a "Video Conferencing" or "Virtual Classroom" type of format. In other words, students now attend the courses we offer and receive exactly the same Live training as before but without having to leave the comfort of their own home. All a student needs to be able to participate in a class is a computer, an Internet connection, a web cam, speakers, and a microphone.
Think of it, no rush to get to class, find parking, deal with traffic, and sit in a less than comfortable chair for several hours of class each day. No being distracted by the nervous habits of other students, the tapping of feet or pencils, etc. You will receive the exact same Live instruction that we had provided historically but now you can do so in the privacy of your own home. Never forget your calculator or books at home again; they are already there and so are you!
