PRE-REQUISITES: FAA Courses

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) - All applicants must;
1. Obtain "Authorization to Test" from the FAA before ANY Licensing Exams can be taken (see link below).
2. Meet the minimum experience requirements (listed below) for the appropriate license.

Minimum Experience Requirements:
Airframe License (A/F);
At least 18 months of practical experience with the procedures, practices, materials, tools, machine tools, and equipment generally used in constructing, maintaining, or altering airframes.

Powerplant License (P/P);
At least 18 months of practical experience with the procedures, practices, materials, tools, machine tools, and equipment generally used in constructing, maintaining, or altering powerplants.

Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P);
At least 30 months of practical experience concurrently performing the duties appropriate to both the airframe and powerplant ratings.
