RESOURCES: Taking a Course
Each class day students will log in to a "Lobby" area initially. From the lobby area the instructor will individually admit students to the virtual classroom. Students must complete all administrative tasks and verify payment of tuition before being admitted into the class.
It is best to sort all of these types of issues out prior to the enrollment deadline..
Once all enrolled students are admitted, the instruction will begin. You will view all of the charts, graphs, drawings, illustrations, tables, and the instructor, via a "Live Feed" on your computer screen. You will be able to see and hear as well as participate in the discussion on the various topics as the course continues.
You will be able to speak to the instructor through your microphone and let him know if you have a question or are having difficulty understanding something.
You will enjoy typical classroom interaction. Many colleges, universities, hospitals, corporations, the military and other enterprises, are beginning to take make use of this new type of training environment. Considered a "Leading Edge" technology, it is leading the way for a more efficient means of interacting with one another.
During the course you will have "class days", "test days", and "study days". Class sessions are 5:30pm - 8:30pm MT on the dates specified in the Schedule, you should log on 15-30 minutes prior to class start time, so that everyone can be admitted by the time class begins.
Take good notes, perform the reading assignments as scheduled, attend each session.
Be sure about the details surrounding your examinations, date, time, and payment, the testing center locations and don't forget your test authorizations!
